What to Know About the 2026 Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony — Nbc

After weeks of intense competition that began with the Opening Ceremonies on February 6, the Milan–Cortina Winter Games are drawing to a close. With the final medals awarded and stories of triumph set, the curtain will fall on February 22 at the Arena di Verona, the Roman amphitheatre dating to 30 AD where the Closing Ceremony will be held.

The ceremony will be broadcast and streamed live on Sunday, February 22, beginning at 2:30 pm ET, and is expected to run about two and a half hours. It follows the last medal events and will feature final speeches and performances beneath the Verona skyline. Titled "Beauty in Action," the show is designed as a celebration of Italian culture, creativity and the unity of sport, art and beauty.

Heavily inspired by Italy’s impact on culture and art, the programme blends opera, music, dance, cinema, design and technology to reflect the connection between mountains and cities; organizers say every artistic language will become part of a unified choreography so that beauty is experienced and shared.
