3 new to Prime Video movies to watch this weekend (February 21–22)

If you're staying home this weekend or planning a family film night, here are three notable films newly available on Prime Video. The picks travel through the decades, from a recent historical action piece to an early '90s Spielberg entry and the 1968 original of a stylish heist picture.

The Woman King is set in the 1800s and stars Viola Davis as General Nanisca, who leads the all-female Agojie regiment. When the Agojie free women abducted by slave traders working for the Oyo Empire, King Ghezo of Dahomey (John Boyega) declares war on the Oyo and their Portuguese allies.

Nanisca trains a new cadre of soldiers to protect the kingdom in a film inspired by real events, energetically directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood with notable fight choreography. Hook updates the Peter Pan story as a sequel to J. M. Barrie's Peter and Wendy.
