30 Rock Easter Eggs Hidden in The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins arrives on NBC with a host of blink-and-miss-it shout-outs that will reward 30 Rock fans. Watch the first two episodes on Monday, February 23 at 8/7c on NBC and the next day on Peacock. Executive produced by Tina Fey and co-created by Robert Carlock and Sam Means, the series blends sitcom beats with sports-doc satire.

Tracy Morgan stars as Reggie, a disgraced former NFL player who hires a blacklisted director, Arthur Tobin (Daniel Radcliffe), to make the film that will salvage his image. Erika Alexander and Bobby Moynihan round out the ensemble. The show echoes 30 Rock’s rapid-fire punchlines and absurdist cutaways, and the writers have tucked in several Easter eggs.

Carlock said the series lives in the same universe as 30 Rock and TGS, and viewers may spot nods such as Donaghy Estates champagne and a barely visible Sheinhardt Wig Company sign across from Reggie’s office. The reunion of many 30 Rock collaborators has given the creators room to slip in private jokes and small details.
