9 Worst Razzie "Snubs" of All Time, Ranked
The Golden Raspberry Awards began in 1981 as a way to single out the worst in cinema, but like other awards they have their own blind spots. Over the decades some films and performances that many viewers consider egregious have gone entirely unrecognized by the Razzies.
Notable omissions range from high-profile misfires such as Gal Gadot’s turn in Snow White (2025), described as wooden, to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), criticized for a nonsensical plot and franchise-damaging choices that some argued warranted Worst Picture and Screenplay nods.
Other frequently mentioned snubs include Uwe Boll’s Alone in the Dark (2005), said to be incompetent in nearly every respect; Disney’s Artemis Fowl (2020), which some called deserving of practically every category; and broadly reviled titles like Dragonball Evolution (2009), Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010), Troll 2 (1990), and The Room (2003), all cited as obvious Razzie contenders.
