Movieweb reports that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1 will premiere on HBO on January 18, 2026, with new episodes airing weekly on HBO at 10 PM ET.

The season will be six episodes long with roughly half-hour runtimes, led by Peter Claffey's Sir Duncan the Tall and blending lighter, more comedic moments with darker sequences. The series is based on George R.R. Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas — the outlet notes Martin has written three of those stories — and is built around a main character rather than a large ensemble.

HBO's broadcast schedule lists Episode 1, "The Hedge Knight," on Jan. 18, 2026; Episodes 2–6 are set for Jan. 25, Feb. 1, Feb. 8, Feb. 15, and Feb. 22, 2026, with titles for episodes 2–6 marked TBA. Episodes will be available to stream on HBO Max after their initial broadcast, and Season 2 has been confirmed and is already in production.
