A24’s Most Polarizing Medieval Fantasy Is Coming to Netflix

Netflix’s March 2026 slate includes a wide range of titles, and one of the additions is A24’s The Green Knight. The 2021 dark fantasy epic stars Dev Patel and Alicia Vikander and will arrive on the platform on March 1, 2026.

The Green Knight holds a Certified Fresh 89% critics' rating but drew mixed audience reactions, reflected in a 50% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes—largely attributed to its slow-burning pacing. Directed by David Lowery, the film was released July 30, 2021, runs 125 minutes, and lists David Lowery and Emilie Hetland as writers.

Alongside that title, Netflix’s March lineup features returning series such as One Piece Season 2 and Virgin River Season 7, plus films including Jurassic World (2015), A Man Called Ove (2015), Anemone (2025), and the Netflix documentary BTS: THE RETURN.
