Movieweb reports that Adam Sandler, recipient of the Career Achievement Award at this weekend's AARP Movies for Grownups Awards — presented to him by Henry Winkler — told the audience he plans to make "at least 50 more" stories for the big screen.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the 59-year-old joked that colleagues had suggested the AARP honor meant he was old and offered a string of age-related anecdotes, including saying he had to call his doctor after taking a Viagra and noting his phone font is so large “my texts can be read by anyone with a window seat on a Delta flight.” He added, "I don't know how much time I have left — 60, 70 years. 80 tops, maybe 90 if I start working out and taking creatine. I promise to everyone here tonight, I will make at least 50 more movies before I am dead — and at least 25 of them will be good."

Sandler is also up for a Golden Globe Award today (January 11) in the Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture category, and earlier this month he accepted the Chairman's Award at the Palm Springs International Film Awards, where he spoke about how a different career path might have looked for him.
