Affleck, Damon and Fallon Recite Every Massachusetts Town on Tonight Show
Nbc reports that on January 13 Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Jimmy Fallon appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and performed a segment in which they recited every town and city in Massachusetts.
The simple segment, titled "Three Guys from Boston Say Every Town and City in Massachusetts," had the trio dressed in Boston cosplay and tasked with listing every town and city in alphabetical order. Damon began with Abington, Acton, Acushnet, Adams and Agawam; Affleck followed with Alford, Amesbury, Amherst, Andover and Aquinnah; and Fallon started with Arlington, Ashburnham, Ashby, Ashfield and Ashland, continuing for roughly four minutes through Yarmouth. Affleck leaned into his native accent, Damon was noted for his pronunciation of "Manchester-by-the-Sea," and Fallon mostly kept a straight face aside from a misstep on "Winchendon."
During the appearance Damon also discussed his new film The Odyssey, premiering in July 2026, and the three shared an anecdote about an acorn that hit Damon during the filming of School Ties, requiring a hospital visit and a temporary eye patch; Affleck said he worried he would be fired because he had only three lines. Beyond the recitation there was no punch line or reveal — just the three saying every town and city in Massachusetts as advertised.
