Alienware 16 Aurora gaming laptop at Dell for just under $1,000
Dell is offering the Alienware 16 Aurora gaming laptop for just under $1,000, ZDNET reports.
The Aurora 16 ships with an Intel Core Ultra 7 240H processor with a maximum overclock speed of 5.2GHz, an Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, making it suitable for graphically intense triple-A games and creative work such as 3D modeling and animation, according to ZDNET.
ZDNET says the 16-inch display delivers a 120Hz refresh rate at 2560 x 1600 resolution, can reproduce up to 100% of the sRGB color spectrum and includes an integrated blue light filter. The laptop also includes Bluetooth connectivity and Wi‑Fi 7 support.
The outlet notes the Aurora 16 has a slim design, weighs just under 5.5 pounds and offers an impressive 10-hour battery life, and calls it a solid upgrade or a first laptop for teens and older kids.
ZDNET gave the deal a 4/5 editor's rating and points to inflated RAM and graphics-card prices amid the AI bubble as context for why the offer stands out. The report cautions that deals can sell out or expire at any time and says its team regularly checks and updates listed deals.
