Landman Season 2 continues to follow the Texas adventures of oil corporation landman-turned-president Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton). This season expands several roles: Cami Miller (Demi Moore), the widow of Monty, navigates the challenges of running M-Tex; Andy Garcia’s Gallino becomes more prominent; and Sam Elliott appears as Tommy’s father, T.

L., despite being only 11 years older than Thornton. The show ramps up pace and character development, giving heavier focus to supporting players such as Ariana, Rebecca, Ainsley, Angela and James Jordan’s Dale. The season opens with “Death and a Sunset,” which centers on Cami’s grief and determination as she confronts shareholders and secures investors with Tommy’s help.
