All animal locations and favorite foods in Heartopia

In Heartopia, eight wild animals roam the island and can befriend you if you feed them. Each animal congregates around its own trough; filling that trough daily raises your bond, which leads to more frequent gifts, extra interactions, possible visits to your home, and unlockable decorations.

The alpaca can even spit in your home. Troughs are spread across the map but can be reached quickly by making a lap around the island in your vehicle. The animals and their trough locations are: Panda — Southern Forest; Capybara — Western Onsen; Mountain Bunny — Western Suburbs; Fox — Central Flower Field; Sea Otter — Central Fishing Village; Ferret — North-western housing area; Sika Deer — Central Forest; Alpaca — Southern Flower Field, near the Fishing Village border.

Once you find a trough, you can track it from the Animal menu. Each animal has three preferred foods but will eat many others, and all can eat the universal animal food sold at the pet shop. Raising bonds also rewards Wishing Stars and unlocks more interactions and decorations.
