Amanda Lovett backs Stephen as surprise frontrunner on The Traitors
Amanda Lovett has named Stephen, a 32-year-old cyber security consultant, as her unexpected pick to win this year’s The Traitors, Amanda told Independent.co.
Lovett, who appeared on the show’s debut series and earned the nickname “mother of dragons”, said she believes the current Traitors are doing a decent job and that Stephen “is handling the pressure tremendously well”. She noted he has faced mounting suspicion after two slip-ups but added: “If he succeeds at a few roundtables and gets the pressure off him, I think he will be OK. I think he might even get through to the final.”
Recent episodes saw Stephen accused of setting Ross up ahead of his banishment. The prior episode showed Ben tell a room of five to look at Ross if he was murdered; Stephen relayed that to Traitors Rachel and Hugo, who decided to murder Ben to frame Ross, and Ross then deduced one of the five must be a Traitor. Lovett described roundtables as long and deliberately cold, defended Reece for missing a piece of information, called Harriet “one to watch” as a Faithful, and said she ultimately wants the Traitors to win.
