Kotaku reports Amazon Prime Video announced on January 26 it will move the release time for the final two episodes of Fallout season two from midnight to 6 p.m. PT. Season two episode seven will now arrive on Tuesday, January 27, and episode eight will be available on Tuesday, February 3. “Good morning, Vault Dwellers!” posted Amazon on Twitter.

The writer said they’ve mostly enjoyed the season but disliked the midnight premieres, noting those start times made it harder for sites to cover the show, more annoying to avoid spoilers the following morning, and largely benefited only night owls. They added the weekly rollout did allow their friend group time to watch and discuss each episode.

Amazon has already confirmed a third season is on the way, and the writer said they would be “madder than a Deathclaw with a dart in its leg” if release times revert to midnight for future episodes. The piece also suggested that fans of the games check who showed up in a recent episode, calling it a very cool surprise for longtime players.
