Amid Fallout From Epstein Files, Dubai’s DP World Boss Is Replaced
The head of Dubai-based DP World resigned on Friday after he was named this week in a trove of files related to Jeffrey Epstein that were released by the Justice Department. DP World said it had appointed a new group chairman and a new chief executive to replace positions held by Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, naming Essa Kazim and Yuvraj Narayan.
Mr. bin Sulayem could not be reached for comment, and DP World did not immediately respond to questions about the resignation. Correspondence between Mr. Epstein and Mr. bin Sulayem surfaced last year, and documents released in January offered further insight into their relationship, including apparent attempts to arrange business opportunities and exchanges about women.
In a 2009 email Mr. Epstein wrote, "Where are you? are you ok , I loved the torture video." The files also include Mr. Epstein’s 2013 line, "one of my most trusted friends," and a reply from Mr.
