Amy Madigan channels 1996 look at 2026 Golden Globes in Thom Browne tux
People reports Amy Madigan, 75, echoed a 1996 Golden Globes look on the 2026 red carpet, arriving in a Thom Browne tuxedo that recalled her earlier suit; she had a matchy-matchy moment with husband Ed Harris, and their daughter Lily Dolores wore a blue dress. Madigan is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, her first Globe nomination in 36 years and her first time at the ceremony in 20 years.
Makeup artist Nick Barose created what the outlet called 'icon-coded glam,' drawing on Madigan’s past red carpet style and the menswear-inspired traditions of classic Hollywood. He said he avoided matte textures in favor of extra glow and a slight lip sheen, and used G.M. COLLIN masks, serums and creams to add hydration and longevity for photos and the evening.
Madigan said she enjoys working with Barose and plans to attend a Warner Bros. Pictures soiree after the ceremony with Harris and her daughter. Other nominees in her category include Emily Blunt, Elle Fanning, Ariana Grande, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Teyana Taylor. The 83rd Golden Globe Awards will take place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. EST, airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
