Angelina Jolie’s 22-year-old son Pax made a rare appearance at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, stepping out on Friday for the screening of the movie "Self Custoday," where he posed alongside director Garrett Patten and producer Fernando Ferro.

For the low-key outing Pax wore a red checkered overshirt layered over a black T-shirt. TMZ reported he had discussed future projects with Ferro and Patten, was invited to join them at Sundance and did "extremely well."

Pax was adopted by Jolie in 2007 at age 3 and by Brad Pitt in 2008, and has been exposed to Hollywood since. He has worked on a couple of projects with his mother, appeared in her 2014 film Maleficent and voiced the character Yoo in the 2016 film Kung Fu Panda 3.

Page Six previously reported in January 2023 that Pax was secretly working as an artist under the pseudonym Embtto, a claim Jolie's rep denied. Speaking to E! News at the AFI premiere of her film Maria in 2024, Jolie said her children are "especially shy, very private people," and that Pax prefers to be behind the camera.

Page Six noted Pax is one of six children — Maddox, 24; Zahara, 21; Shiloh, 19; and 17-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — and the report added that the children have cut off contact with Pitt, with some even dropping his last name.
