Ann Michael Maye goes viral as ‘Queen of the North’ at AFC Championship

According to Nbc, Ann Michael Maye, the wife of New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, drew widespread attention at the AFC Championship Game in Denver as fans turned the spotlight on her during the snowy contest.

Fans praised her fashion and enthusiastic support, dubbing her “The Queen of the North,” a reference to Game of Thrones, and some even credited her with the team’s Super Bowl-sealing win. For the game she wore a custom jacket embroidered with the full evolution of the Patriots logo; she has previously worn a custom sweatshirt reading "I [Heart] Drake Maye." The Patriots won 10-7 after Maye’s fourth-quarter scramble for one last first down to seal the victory, and she posted a postgame Instagram caption: "Words can’t even begin to describe how proud I am of you, #10!!!! Watching your dreams come true is the biggest blessing and I love you!!!!!"

Now the Mayes will head to Santa Clara, California, home of Super Bowl 60, where the Patriots will take on the Seattle Seahawks. Super Bowl LX is scheduled for Sunday, February 8.
