Anouk Denton joins Bay FC as West Ham receive club-record fee
Details reported by Goal say England defender Anouk Denton has completed a move from West Ham to NWSL side Bay FC, in what has been described as a club-record sale for the Hammers. The 22-year-old, who won her first England cap in December, has signed a four-year deal and moves to the U.S.
after three years at West Ham. Denton previously played college soccer for the Louisville Cardinals and came through the Arsenal youth system; a short loan at West Ham led to a permanent transfer in 2023. Bay FC's head coach Emma Coates, who worked with England youth teams and is familiar with Denton, praised her professionalism, versatility and WSL experience.
Denton said she was excited to test herself in the NWSL, calling it "the most competitive league in the world" and looking forward to living in the Bay Area.
