Goal reported that Antoine Semenyo rifled home a 95th-minute winner for Bournemouth against Tottenham, a dramatic final contribution for the Cherries ahead of his planned move to Manchester City later this week.

The match swung back and forth: Mathys Tel put Tottenham 1-0 up, Evanlinson levelled, then Eli Junior Kroupi gave Bournemouth the lead before Joao Palhinha struck a stunning overhead kick to make it 2-2. Deep into stoppage time Semenyo cut inside and smashed the ball into the far corner to seal the victory for the hosts.

Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola, who had tried to keep Semenyo in January as the player’s £65 million release clause was due to expire on the 10th, praised the forward in a BBC interview, saying in part: "I think it was, unluckily for us I think it was... He has scored 10 goals in half a season." Semenyo is set to undergo his City medical on Thursday morning. Tottenham boss Thomas Frank called the defeat "extremely painful" and confirmed Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Bergvall were added to the injury list ahead of their FA Cup trip to Aston Villa, saying the club were "very much in the market" for reinforcements.
