Antony copies Ronaldo celebration after long-range winner for Betis — Goal

Antony continued his strong run for Real Betis, whipping home a left-footed strike from the edge of the box to secure a 1-0 La Liga win at Atletico Madrid. The 25-year-old's finish proved the only goal of the game and was his tenth of the season. After scoring he copied Cristiano Ronaldo's 'calma' celebration.

Having signed for Betis permanently in the summer after a difficult spell at Manchester United, Antony cut in onto his left foot and fired home at the near post, catching Jan Oblak by surprise. Betis team-mate Marc Bartra has called him "a mixture of Ronaldo and Neymar", and Antony has previously spoken of his admiration for Cristiano: "Words can’t describe Cristiano, the best in the world.

In just a few days, I've learnt a lot from him. He has an extraordinary mind and, whenever I talk to him, I take a lot from it." Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini praised the team's defensive security after the win, which came three days after a 5-0 home defeat to Atletico in the Copa del Rey.
