Applebee’s returns $6 Mucho cocktails and unveils O-M-Cheese Burger
People reports Applebee’s is starting the year by reintroducing its Mucho Smoocho Sips — $6 cocktails — and debuting a new O-M-Cheese Burger as part of a limited menu refresh. The Mucho Smoocho Sips lineup includes the returning Tipsy Cupid, made with vodka, orange liqueur, strawberry flavors and lemon sour, and the new Prickly Ever After Rita, which mixes tequila, citrus and prickly pear; both cocktails arrive garnished with gummy-candy lips and are available for $6, with a premium spirit upgrade offered.
Applebee’s is also debuting a nonalcoholic Prickly Melon Rush Mocktail made with watermelon-flavored Red Bull, prickly pear, citrus and lemon-lime soda. “It’s easy to find something (or someone) to fall in love with at Applebee’s,” Nate Grover, Applebee’s executive director of bar and beverage, said in a statement about the seasonal sips.
The O-M-Cheese Burger is an all-beef burger topped with American cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon and a drizzle of spicy honey mustard, served over warm queso and a blend of melted Cheddar cheeses in a sizzling skillet designed for dipping and dragging. For a limited time, it can also be ordered as part of Applebee’s 2 for $25 menu.
