Arc Raiders Combat Recon: where to find Spotter Relays in the Buried City

The Combat Recon quest in Arc Raiders' Headwinds update sends you back into the Buried City to scope three locations and hand a Spotter Relay to Shani. You must also destroy two Spotters (recon drones) to complete the objective; this quest is similar to With a View and Prime Specimen.

Main Street is the hardest to spot—reach the attic of the westernmost house in Plaza Rosa in the south of the Buried City, then interact with the prompt by the roof window that looks east over the plaza. Be cautious: a Bombardier can spawn where Main Street meets Plaza Rosa, and the area often has many players.

For the Parking Garage objective, take the zipline to the roof and head to the southwestern side to find the stairwell. Interact with the prompt at the top of the stairs by the broken railing. The rooftop is exposed and may host a Rocketeer or Bombardier. Marano Park is the easiest—enter the bus closest to the metro entrance (facing Piazza Roma to the west) and interact with the prompt at the back door.

The guide recommends doing Marano Park last since it’s central and near a metro exfil if enemies or other players converge. Spotters are the drones deployed by Bombardiers and appear at Parking Garage, Marano Park, and Plaza Rosa/Main Street—the same three objective areas—so you can grab relays while visiting each site.
