Arc Raiders director says saving blueprints after Expeditions isn't ruled out — Pcgamer

Blueprints are one of the most divisive topics in the Arc Raiders community. Finding blueprints is largely down to luck, and that frustration is compounded by the fact that all that hard work is flushed if players opt into the (entirely optional) Expedition reset.

Design director Virgil Watkins says a blueprint-saving option was discussed before launch, but it presents challenges because "the blueprints in particular are such a power elevation." He adds, "I certainly don't think it's off the table." Watkins acknowledged players' pleas to keep a few hard-won items: "Of course, it's a very rational thing for players to want to do, like, 'I work really hard for these and please let me have a few of them.' So yeah, I wouldn't say no to any idea along those lines." He also warned that "it's mostly about how you balance what is kind of part of the core run-up through progression," so changes would have knock-on effects.
