Arc Raiders 'Movie Night' quest: where to find VHS tapes and a portable TV
The Arc Raiders "Movie Night" quest asks players to fetch a stack of VHS tapes and a portable TV and return both items to Apollo, according to Polygon's walkthrough. The quest has three steps: deliver a portable TV to Apollo; on Stella Montis, search the Cultural Archives for old movie tapes; and deliver the stack of movie tapes to Apollo.
Portable TVs are residential items and are most likely to be found by looting in areas such as Dam Battlegrounds, Pale Apartments, Ruby Residence, Pattern House, Buried City Grandioso Apartments, Santa Maria Houses, Red Tower, Buried Properties, Plaza Rosa, Blue Gate Village, Raider's Refuge, and Ruined Homestead.
Polygon's guide says it found one in Village on Blue Gate, which it calls the biggest residential looting zone in the game, so getting there early in a match improves your chances. The movie tapes are in the Cultural Archives on Stella Montis, a high-tier loot zone on the southeast corner of the upper floor, directly above the Eastern Tunnel and south of the Business Center.
The chest of drawers with the "search for VHS tapes" prompt sits in the very southwest corner of the location, almost touching the wall that borders the Atrium; interact with it, pick up the tapes, and ideally put them in your safe pocket to secure them. If you’re running a free loadout, head for the nearest extraction point—the Seed Vault Airshaft on the floor below—after grabbing the tapes.
