Players of extraction shooter Arc Raiders say they've found a suspected duplication exploit after raiders were killed carrying many copies of the same blueprint, according to posts on the game's subreddit.

Examples cited by players include one raider killed with 22 Tempest blueprints and another holding 17 of a single blueprint. Reddit users saw no obvious signs of how the items were duplicated and suspect foul play.

Some commenters joked about hoarding — 'No wonder he got killed, you could probably hear him squeak all the way from Speranza' — but others warned of wider consequences, saying progression could be meaningless if duplication becomes common. "If this becomes common, it's going to ruin the experience for everyone," one concerned player wrote.

The article's author noted there are theories about how the trick is being done but declined to summarise them, calling some suggestions convoluted and saying that, for many, simply playing properly is the fairest and easiest path.

Developer Embark previously fixed two similar issues earlier this month, and the piece suggests the studio can likely see player-facing activity and is working to identify a fix. It remains unclear exactly how the duplication is occurring.
