Arc Raiders and The Finals hit by extensive coordinated DDoS attacks, Embark says

Embark Studios says its servers are being hit by "extensive, co-ordinated DDoS attacks," causing players of Arc Raiders and The Finals to struggle to enter matches or to suffer persistent lag.

Community lead Julia Ossen posted "An update on recent server issues" on Discord, explaining that both of Embark's games "have been under extensive, co-ordinated DDoS attacks," and that the team is working to try and find solutions.

The studio has not publicly identified when the attacks began. According to Ossen's message, the attacks have led some players to have trouble entering matches or to experience lag when they do get into a game.

Ossen closed her Discord statement by saying the team will share more information on the server when available and signed off, "Stay vigilant, Raiders – and we'll see you Topside when we're through this."

Embark says it is working on fixes, but further details and timing remain unclear; the studio will post updates to its Discord when there is more information.
