Arc Raiders update adds PvE event 'Shared Watch' and returns Cold Snap

The latest Arc Raiders patch introduces a PvE-focused event called "Shared Watch," described as "a celebration to honor those brave enough to watch each others' backs in the face of relentless adversity." The event runs from Tuesday, Feb. 10 until Tuesday, Feb.

24; during that period no merits will be earned from PvP encounters. PvP remains enabled, but rewards are limited to loot on corpses, while merits can only be earned by destroying, assisting, and damaging Arc enemies. A new event track offers a mix of gameplay and cosmetic rewards, with standouts including the Tactical Mk.

3 (Healing) augment blueprint, a Snap Hook, a Vita Spray blueprint, and a batting helmet for Scrappy. The winter map condition Cold Snap has also returned: exposure to the cold slowly causes frostbite that can be cured by going indoors. Snowballs and Candleberries can still be found, although Candleberries no longer serve an event purpose, and the general value of loot is increased.
