Ariana Grande pokes fun after Vogue Japan photo appears to show six fingers

Ariana Grande poked fun at an apparent Photoshop fail after a fan account posted Vogue Japan snapshots that seemed to show her with a sixth finger — and she replied in the comments, “holy s--t.” Fan Instagram account @ourpinkwitchh shared a pair of images of the “Wicked” star in a cream floral Dior mini skirt and top, daintily raising her left hand.

In a close-up crop the shot appeared to show the faint outline of an extra finger; Grande was wearing a sheer white glove and several of her hand tattoos were visible. The fan account asked, “who’s responsible for giving ariana 6 fingers…. 😭” and Grande answered, “holy s--t.” She followed with a joking comment: “oh my goodness how exciting!

i’ve been saying i need some extra appendages so that i can start an album ! thankful for this.” Fans responded with comments such as “i knew you were hiding something,” “Ariana AI Grande,” “This is my wallpaper and I just noticed 😭,” and “I DIDNT EVEN NOTICE.” A rep for Vogue did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

It’s unclear where the original image came from — an almost identical photo from Vogue Japan’s spread did not show the hint of a second pinkie. The image in question was part of a Nov. 2025 set of photos in which Grande channeled retro vibes in several dresses.
