Arknights: Endfield tier list ranks characters by team meta

Pcgamer has published an Arknights: Endfield tier list that ranks playable characters by their usefulness in different team types and elemental combos.

The piece explains that a character's value depends heavily on team composition: some are prized for versatility and free-to-play friendliness, while others serve as meta DPS or support for a specific art. Endfield features elemental arts and combo skills that activate on conditions such as reactions, making team comp central. It says currently the top-tier teams are cryo and heat, though heat has far fewer characters, and neither is free-to-play friendly since they require six-star characters; by contrast, electric and cryo/physical hybrid teams are described as very free-to-play friendly because most required characters are four or five-stars.

The published tier list places Laevatain, Yvonne, Gilberta, Last Rite and Ardelia in S-tier; Avywenna, Xaihi, Akekuri, Pogranichnik, Antal, Wulfgard, Perlica, Ember and Lifeng in A-tier; Endministrator, Arclight, Alesh, Chen Qianyu, Estella, Fluorite and Snowshine in B-tier; and Da Pan and Catcher in C-tier.

The article notes that "we don't really know who performs best in the endgame yet, and won't until after launch," so these rankings reflect current impressions rather than confirmed endgame performance.
