Dru Hammer is launching a podcast called "Hollywood and Divine" with celebrity-circler John Luciano that aims to give disgraced celebrities a chance to tell their side of the story. Her son Armie Hammer will be the first guest. The hosts say the show will allow men — potentially including convicted rapists — the chance to "repent" and redeem themselves.

Dru says, "There is absolutely a place for the Me Too movement, so many things have happened. But a lot of men have been hammered and it’s been hard for them to have a voice. So it’s a good opportunity to let them say what happened, what they did wrong and repent." She also says she has seen emails and texts between Armie and accusers and states, "He was not criminally wrong, he was morally wrong." Armie was accused in 2021 of rape, physical abuse and inappropriately indulging cannibalistic fantasies; he said encounters were "consensual." The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office did not charge him, citing "insufficient evidence," though his Hollywood career was badly damaged.
