Ashton Kutcher said he was once fired by Gucci for being 'too fat,' Pagesix reported. He told Entertainment Tonight he had booked a campaign with the house — run by Tom Ford at the time — flew to Italy for the shoot, was put into a pink Speedo and was told, 'He's too fat,' before being cut from the job.

Kutcher, now 47, said he weighed 'exactly' 178 pounds at the time and that he and Ford now laugh about the incident. He defended Ford's decision, saying, 'He had a specific thing that he wanted... I wasn't right for him that moment,' and noted that even among models 'everybody had an insecurity.'

Kutcher stars in Ryan Murphy's upcoming FX series The Beauty, which is set to drop on FX on Jan. 21 and revolves around an STD that produces aesthetic improvements but proves lethal. During the interview he praised ex-wife Demi Moore's performance in The Substance, referencing Moore's Oscar nomination, and he has previously said his model looks sometimes hurt his acting career, calling it 'frustrating.'
