Audiences Have One Last Chance To Stream Mel Gibson’s War Epic
Braveheart is currently available to stream on Netflix, but the nearly three-hour epic will leave the service on March 1.
Mel Gibson both directed and stars as Scottish warrior Sir William Wallace during the harrowing and bloody events of the First War of Scottish Independence. The cast also includes Angus Macfadyen, Sophie Marceau, Catherine McCormack, and Patrick McGoohan.
The film was Gibson’s sophomore feature-length project as a director and is packed with history, colorful costumes, and career-defining performances.
After taking nearly a decade off from filmmaking, Gibson returned behind the camera with 2025’s Flight Risk and will next bring The Resurrection of the Christ: Part One and Part Two, both movies slated to arrive in cinemas next year. Head over to Netflix before March 1 to stream Braveheart.
