Avengers: Doomsday teaser hints at Fantastic Four–Wakanda crossover
Movieweb reports the fourth teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday teases a crossover between Wakanda and the Fantastic Four, showing Shuri and M'Baku meeting Ben Grimm — The Thing — and also featuring Namor.
The piece notes the pairing calls back to the Stan Lee and Jack Kirby Fantastic Four run that introduced Black Panther and Wakanda, including Black Panther's debut in Fantastic Four #52 (July 1962). It also recalls Namor's longer history: he first appeared in Marvel Comics #1 in 1939 and was reintroduced to the Lee/Kirby era in Fantastic Four #4 in 1962, and he served as an antagonist in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The article says the Fantastic Four have now arrived in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that the trailer, at minimum, shows The Thing interacting with Wakandan characters, though it is not yet clear whether other members of the team will appear. Avengers: Doomsday is listed with a December 18, 2026 release date and credits Anthony Russo and Joe Russo as directors and Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron (alongside Jack Kirby and Stan Lee) as writers.
