Ayaneo launches customer service improvements, testing US repair facilities
Ayaneo has begun early Chinese New Year celebrations by announcing a set of commitments aimed at improving the customer experience, including the addition of US-based repair facilities that are currently being tested. At present, warranty repairs for the Air 1S, Flip DS, and Kun handhelds often require shipment back to Ayaneo’s factory in China.
The company says it is advancing overseas repair capabilities, has opened cooperation talks with multiple third-party repair organizations, and has sent test units for validation. Separately, a global shortage of DRAM and SSDs is affecting pricing. High-capacity memory has heavily influenced the cost of new products like the Next 2, and other models may face price adjustments or removal from sale as a result.
Ayaneo may consider using China’s CXMT for DRAM, but growing AI demand is shifting production toward high-bandwidth memory for GPUs.
