Bad Bunny won album of the year for 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' at the 68th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, The New York Times reports. The win marked the first time a Spanish‑language album took the Grammys' top prize. The 17‑song record, recorded in Puerto Rico, mixes salsa, Puerto Rican folk forms such as bomba and plena with reggaeton, Latin trap and electronic beats; Bad Bunny sat in silence for a few beats before accepting and was visibly emotional, the report says.

The ceremony carried an undercurrent of political protest: many artists wore 'ICE OUT' pins, and Bad Bunny used his earlier acceptance for best música urbana album to say, 'Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out. We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens.

We are humans, and we are Americans.' Billie Eilish also referenced immigration in her song of the year acceptance, saying 'No one is illegal on stolen land.' Kendrick Lamar was the night's biggest individual winner with five trophies, including record of the year for 'Luther' with SZA.

Billie Eilish and Finneas won song of the year for 'Wildflower,' their third such win, and other winners included Lady Gaga, Jelly Roll, Lola Young, Leon Thomas, the Cure and Turnstile, among others.
