Baldur's Gate 3 gets tiny patch that fixes corrupted saves — Pcgamer

Baldur's Gate 3 quietly downloaded just north of 100 MB for some players, arriving without any advance notice and prompting questions about what Larian might be up to.

The studio isn't signalling a surprise Patch 9, a sudden DLC, or a Divinity tie‑in — and if it is planning any of those things, it isn't saying so. This update, however, appears to be much smaller and more specific.

After teasing "Bet you thought you’d seen the last of these," on its Discord, Larian wrote: "As it turns out, a few crashes and technical issues were still knocking about, so if you were getting stuck while loading saves, or trying to progress from Act 2 into Act 3, your corrupted saves should now be fixed!"

Players have already reported success. "This update fixed my Honor Mode save, now opens again. BLESS YOU LARIAN" wrote bladesmantis, and stahnke_as_pho added: "My run that crashed at 75% on every load is now playable after updating. Blessed."
