Zdnet reports Baseus has upgraded the car charger with the PrimeTrip VR2 Max, making it an in-car charging system for people with a lot of gadgets.

The device features two retractable USB-C cables on the top that extend to 2.6 feet (80 centimeters) and lock at various lengths; one cable delivers up to 67W and the other up to 33W. It supports PD, QC and SCP charging protocols, and the unit swivels 180 degrees vertically and 270 degrees horizontally while using magnets to hold the cable ends when not in use.

Below the retractor are two additional ports — another USB-C up to 33W and a USB-A up to 30W — allowing up to four devices to charge simultaneously. Zdnet's reviewer noted the retraction system was tested for over 10,000 pulls and retractions and praised the design and safe power delivery, while warning the charger is relatively large and may not fit some vehicles depending on the 12V port location.
