Independent.co reports that a beauty journalist used the Hello Klean showerhead 2.0 every day for seven months to determine whether it genuinely improved her hair and deserved a place in the bathroom.

A large chunk of the UK has hard water, including areas such as London, Luton, Oxford and Bath, which can leave limescale in showers and make water harsh on hair and skin. Hello Klean markets filters designed to reduce chlorine, metals and other impurities. Co‑founder Karlee Ozener explains: "When wet hair dries, minerals like calcium and magnesium crystallise on the hair shaft, roughening the cuticle and blocking moisture. Hair can look dull, feel brittle and break more easily. For colour-treated hair, it’s even worse – chlorine can oxidise colour molecules, while metals like copper can alter pigment, turning blondes green and brunettes orange."

The reviewer set the showerhead up in her own shower and used it daily, noting how easy it was to install, how it affected water pressure and the condition of her hair. The piece also describes the product as one of the most sleek designs and says the full review includes the testing criteria and more detailed findings at the end.
