Ben Affleck says he trolled Dunkin' customers during unaired ad
People reports Ben Affleck, 53, recalled trolling Dunkin' Donuts customers while filming a commercial, saying he and Matt Damon told people in Medford, Massachusetts, "We don't have coffee" during a joint interview.
Damon said the bit couldn't air because it involved telling drive‑through customers there was no coffee, and Affleck performed an impression of a customer's reply, "I didn't wait an hour for water." Affleck, Damon and Tom Brady later starred in a seven-minute Super Bowl commercial that resurrected the DunKings, a fictional coffee‑obsessed group introduced the year before with Jennifer Lopez, and Affleck received a 2024 menu item called the DunKings Iced Coffee, described as "classic iced coffee with notes of vanilla combined with cream, topped with Sweet Cold Foam and a dusting of cinnamon sugar."
Affleck and Damon, whose friendship spans more than 40 years, interviewed each other in a Netflix video to promote their new film The Rip, which is streaming on Netflix now; they attended the film's premiere at Alice Tully Hall on Jan. 13, 2026.
