Best monster hearts in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined
Polygon reports that monster hearts in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined are new items that replace the monster vocations from the original game. Obtained from treasure chests hidden in dungeons or by killing stronger, glowing variants of certain monsters, these hearts grant special passive abilities or buffs.
A monster heart can be equipped in either of the two accessory slots a character has. Two hearts can be equipped, but since they don't provide attribute bonuses running two is not usually optimal; hearts are often paired with an accessory instead. Monster hearts are particularly powerful in the early and mid game and some remain useful through the end.
