Big sports weekend ahead: the 2026 Winter Olympics kicks off Friday in Italy, and hundreds of millions will tune in Sunday for Seahawks versus Patriots in Super Bowl LX. Plenty of gamers, though, will skip the broadcasts and spend the weekend playing instead — especially while it’s still too frigid to go outside.
Like a Dragon: Yakuza Pirate in Hawaii is a wild spinoff that sends series antihero Goro Majima on a beachside, amnesia-fueled pirate adventure. It’s ridiculous by Yakuza standards but still finds heartfelt moments, and you get to steer a pirate ship and blow up other boats.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 arrived on Game Pass last week and its short campaign makes for a solid weekend binge. The story may not make much sense to newcomers, but the game delivers on shoot-and-smash action with a variety of firearms and melee weapons; bring a friend or two for the co-op campaign and try the other multiplayer modes afterward.
