Best Xbox Game Pass games to play this weekend (Feb. 13-15)

With Valentine's Day tomorrow, it's a fine moment to spotlight video game romance. Not every title features courting, but plenty of RPGs let you wine, dine, and smooch your party members, while others let you watch relationships evolve for better or worse. This short selection highlights games with some of our favorite romances, from a classic sci-fi trilogy to a recent BioWare outing and a cooperative all-timer.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition may be framed as a race to save the galaxy, but it's also about choosing which member of the Normandy you want Shepard to seduce — and possibly fall in love with. Options include Liara, whose same-sex romance option with FemShep broke Fox New hosts' minds back in the day, Thane, who finds love again after a painful life, and Garrus, who sets aside his calibrations for some quality time.

Play for the third-person shooting and choice-driven storytelling, and you may well come away thinking about its memorable aliens for years. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is BioWare's latest sprawling RPG.
