Bethenny Frankel: chronic kidney disease progresses to stage 3A
Bethenny Frankel says her chronic kidney disease has moved from stage 2 to stage 3A, a change that left her 'sick to her stomach.' The 55-year-old told Instagram followers the condition is 'right in the middle' and 'not quite at medication point,' and that her doctor told her, 'Water is your medicine.' Her doctor warned the illness can fluctuate and advised follow-up testing in a couple of months, telling her not to be totally alarmed.
Frankel said the guidance gave her anxiety because she is often dehydrated, and she worked to remain calm while urging others to 'please get tested.' She criticised the surge of supplements being promoted, warning people not to rush into treatments and to make sure their doctors know what they are taking because 'some things can affect different parts of your body on different people.' A recent sonogram also revealed a liver nodule.
When a commenter urged her to 'slow down on the caviar,' she replied, 'That's fine for me.
