Bethenny Frankel blames St. Barts hotel towels for facial bacterial infection
According to Pagesix, Bethenny Frankel said towels from a resort in St. Barts caused a facial bacterial infection, a claim she made in a TikTok video after revealing a rash earlier this month.
Frankel said the rash “happened once” to her daughter Bryn, 15, who she claimed recognized the spotty red breakout as it emerged. In the video she described seeing “disgusting bins of towels and linens” behind a hotel and alleged that towels and sheets sit in bins with food, beverage and heat before being laundered. Frankel asserted that “even a well-cleaned towel still holds bacteria. A face cloth holds bacteria,” and said a facialist had warned her that makeup sponges, powder puffs and brushes can carry bacteria too.
Her new video showed the rash appearing to have cleared, and Frankel said she will “never, ever use a hotel towel or sheet again.” She first made headlines when she vacationed in St. Barts over New Year’s and posted images and videos of the mysterious facial rash she said she brought home from the trip.
