Bethenny Frankel posts 'shady' Instagram reaction to NeNe Leakes' Bravo return
Pagesix reported that Bethenny Frankel posted an Instagram video Friday offering a reportedly “shady” reaction to NeNe Leakes’ return to Bravo for the upcoming series “Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip.”
Frankel began by insisting she was “so happy” and “thrilled” for Leakes but then suggested Leakes might be returning because of financial woes or to stay relevant. She said she had separately pitched a road‑trip series about her and Leakes traveling “across the country in an RV,” and alleged producers turned it down because Leakes is “kryptonite and toxic,” adding she “have[s] all the receipts.” Frankel also raised Leakes’ 2022 lawsuit against Bravo and Andy Cohen, saying, “I’ve never in history heard of someone go after a company and take legal action… and then that company hire them back.”
Fans in the comments urged Frankel to “move on” and questioned whether she originated the road‑trip idea, noting a past project with Leakes and Kim Zolciak about 11 years ago. The report says Leakes and Cohen reconciled while Frankel and Cohen have not; Cohen has called her a “margarita lady” and criticized her “suffocating” social videos. A rep for Leakes did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
