Cbssports: The Buffalo Bills conducted an interview with former New York Giants coach Brian Daboll as part of their coaching search to replace Sean McDermott.

Daboll was Buffalo's offensive coordinator from 2018-21 under McDermott and served as the Bills' OC during Josh Allen's first four NFL seasons. Over that span the Bills' offense rose from 30th in scoring in Daboll's first season to second by his third year, and that offensive success helped Buffalo become one of the NFL's upper-echelon teams. The franchise's ongoing inability to get to a Super Bowl contributed to owner Terry Pegula's decision to relieve McDermott despite Buffalo winning at least 11 regular-season games in each of the last three years.

After leaving the Bills, Daboll had a largely tumultuous tenure as Giants coach: he delivered New York's first playoff win since Super Bowl XLVI but also endured back-to-back losing seasons before his firing. The Bills also interviewed offensive coordinator Joe Brady and Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, are slated to meet with Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski, and have requested to interview Commanders running backs coach Anthony Lynn and Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
