Bitcoin job listings rise 6% in 2025 as non-developer roles lead
Beincrypto reports the Bitcoin job market grew 6% in 2025, led by non-developer roles, with the US remaining dominant and Asia showing sharp listing growth. Bitvocation’s 2025 Bitcoin Jobs Data report found 1,801 unique Bitcoin-related listings in 2025, up from 1,707 in 2024. Bitcoin-only firms accounted for 47% of listings (up from 42%) while Bitcoin-adjacent companies made up 53%.
The report counted 154 Bitcoin-only companies averaging six hires each; the top 10 bitcoin-only employers saw 122% year-over-year growth. In the adjacent segment, Bitdeer accounted for almost one-third of roles with 307 postings, and the top 10 adjacent firms captured 85% of that segment.
Non-developer roles represented 74% of positions (up from 69%), with product manager the top non-technical title and director-level hiring rising, while technical demand centered on senior software engineers. The data suggests the Bitcoin job market is maturing, the report said, and employers increasingly value skills, ecosystem fit and visible contributions over formal credentials.
