Bloober Team has updated a strange countdown website that began at the end of 2025, adding new images and spooky vocalizing, and some fans are hoping the studio is teasing a remake of the controversial 2006 PlayStation 2 game Rule of Rose. The update was first noticed by Shinobi602 on Bluesky.

The countdown page at remosdneulserorehsoovamceyerd.com (which remains undeciphered) now features a stylized image of a rose and the line: "Some things never leave the walls. They only learn to wait." Hovering over the rose makes it drip a dark liquid, and there is a similarly drippy "play" button on the page.

Clicking the play button delivers a scratchy vocal recording that a quick search identifies as a recitation of William Blake's poem The Sick Rose. The site includes lines printed on the page, including: "O Rose thou art sick. The invisible worm, That flies in the night In the howling storm...Has found out thy bed Of crimson joy: And his dark secret love Does thy life destroy." Some fans are connecting the rose imagery to Rule of Rose, a game that sparked uproar on its release in 2006 and was not released in a number of markets, which has helped make it a collector's item.

Kotaku listed Rule of Rose as one of eight games worth a lot of money in 2019, while also noting it is not highly regarded compared with games like Silent Hill 2.
