Bobby Zamora: Harry Kane unlikely to rejoin Tottenham, could go to Real or Barça — Goal

Bobby Zamora has said there is little chance Harry Kane will pull on the Tottenham shirt again. Kane left Spurs in 2023 as the club’s all-time top scorer and has since lifted his trophy curse with Bayern Munich. Zamora argued Kane is happy in Germany and would only return to the Premier League if it offered a real chance to win major honours; as it stands, he does not see Tottenham as frontrunners for such a deal.

Another former Spurs star, Danny Murphy, added that Kane is thriving at Bayern, having won his first league title and first trophy, and that family factors aside a move back to Spurs would be more romantic than competitive. From a football perspective, Murphy suggested Kane would have other options to compete for the biggest honours rather than risk a perceived downgrade.

Bayern say release clauses have expired and Kane remains under contract until 2027, while Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with interest.
