Kotaku reports a store listing on Portuguese site GamingReplay (via TheGamer) states a release date of February 27, 2026 for Borderlands 4 on Switch 2.

The listing names the sci-fi sequel and places the date on a Thursday, which the report notes would follow a potential February Nintendo Direct. The port had been indefinitely delayed last fall while Gearbox Entertainment addressed performance issues with the PC version of the loot shooter.

For now the date comes only from the store listing, so it remains unconfirmed by Nintendo or Gearbox and should be treated as a leak until either company issues an official announcement.
